Blogging, Financial, and Life Goals for 2016

With the year officially coming to an end, I thought I'd do something different this year. Make some goals! Now you're probably sitting there rolling your eyes saying, "Here we go again, another one who thinks that just because the new year has arrived, it's time to make those resolutions/goals that no one ever really keeps." Believe it or not, I was/AM one of those people but you know what, this time I thought I'd do the opposite.

So leggo!

  1. Get more into blogging. I always have these ideas and pieces that I want to write but honestly never get to them. My number one goal is to make sure I blog 3 times a week. Why three? Well it's one of my favorite numbers, so I'll stick to that!
  2. Attend a conference/event. It's definitely something that has been on my list for a while now. Every time an event comes up, I want to go but either get busy or just don't feel like driving the distance to attend. While I do enjoy beauty/fashion, I want to attend at least one event that isn't beauty/fashion related.
  3. Work on my photography/vlogging. I have so many cameras and only use them when my family goes to family events. I want to brush up on my editing, photography, and vlogging. All of it seems so fun but definitely looks like a lot of work.
  1. Budget, budget, budget. I have gotten slightly better this past year but I really need to get a hold of my budgeting. I swear those random five dollar ten dollar purchases add up after a while. Then I look back at the stuff I bought and regret it *face palm*
  2. Steady/better income. It's time to get serious about finding a job that brings in a steady income. I'm 25 for chrissake. I guess it's time to finally grow up huh? I wish I could just be Peter Pan and never grow up <3!
  3. Start a retirement/savings. With the way things are nowadays, it's always better to be safe than sorry. And let's be realistic, by the time I retire, there won't be any social security left, so might as well start saving now.
  1. Body confidence. This has to be my number one dilemma. Ever since I left Connecticut, I've just let myself go. I keep saying how I want to get back into shape but let's be honest, it won't ever happen until I am 100% dedicated to it. It's time to finally be confident with my body and who I am as a person.
  2. Travel/Get my own apartment. I absolutely LOVE traveling and visiting different countries. My one travel goal is to live abroad. I haven't decided where just yet but it does go hand in hand with the getting my own apartment. If I can make it happen, I will obviously need a place to live!
  3.  Read. I used to be an AVID reader. So avid that I'd read anywhere from 10-20 books in a month. Now, it's at -20. . . You can just imagine how disappointing that is. My ability to read has actually gotten slower as well. It's time to get back to doing something I enjoy so much. I want to try do 3-4 books a month. That sounds like a good number to me! Maybe I can incorporate the books into blog posts!

So there you have it! My goals for 2016. Let me know what your goals for 2016 are!

Ecru New York Acacia Protein BB Hair Cream Review

I first came across this beauty when I received my October Ipsy bag. As some of you know, I consider my hair one of my "prized possessions".  For that reason, when it comes to testing things out on it, I get a bit weary. After doing a bit of research and finding quite a few rave reviews on it, I thought I'd give it a go. I was a bit apprenehsive because in all honesty, majority of the products that I have used and read "rave reviews" about, were let downs.

Haul: RiRi Hearts Mac Summer Collection

Quick post of the collection. They just came in today! I'll do a more in depth review after I test out all the products :)!
