Aveeno Active Naturals Skin Brightening Daily Scrub Review

Keeping your face exfoliated and free of dead skin cells is the number one way to achieve beautiful skin. The key factor to doing this is picking the right exfoliator. Make sure the beads in the cleanser are cut correctly. I know a lot of people talk about St. Ives Apricot Scrub but truth be told, after years of use, it will cause more damage to your face due to the abrasive beads in the scrubs.

After trying many different  exfoliators, the best I found has to be the Aveeno Active Naturals Skin Brightening Daily Scrub (around $7.99 USD). This is gentle enough to use daily or use it two-three times a week if you have extremely senstitive skin. The beads are non abrasive and do not damage your skin after multiple use. The result is beautiful in that it reduces oiliness, gives a glow to your skin, and slowly brightens your skin after constant use. It is not harsh and does not dry out the skin. Overall, I definitely recommend this product to anyone out there. It has been my go to product for the past six months and I plan on continuing to buy this.

Kitchen Kreations: Chocolate Fudge Cupcakes

There are days when I get this random need to bake and today was one of them. Chocolate fudge cupcakes with vanilla frosting was the outcome, nom nom nom. Don't mind the picture quality. I was too lazy to go back upstairs and pick up my camera/phone.

Beauty Buy: Maybelline Color Tattoos

I picked up a few (ok six >_<) of the Maybelline 24 hour Color Tattoos. In my defense, I only paid a fraction of the price; thanks to CVS, their extra-bucks, and Beauty Club. As some of you may know, I tend to stick with neutrals but I ventured out of my comfort zone and bought some new colors. Let me tell you, I am loving them so far. The colors I picked up (going clockwise) are: #25 Bad to the Bronze, #35 Tough as Taupe, #40 Tenacious Teal, #20 Painted Purple, #45 Bold Gold, and #05 Too Cool. I'll do a review of the line after I buy the remaining four.
